Our approach
How Trust & Safety Works
We monitor sending behavior across our platform using a combination of automated detection and manual review. Our systems flag patterns consistent with spam, phishing, and policy abuse. Our team investigates every report submitted here. When a violation is confirmed, we act: warnings, feature suspensions, or account termination depending on severity. We also report confirmed abuse to relevant blocklists and ISPs to protect the broader email ecosystem.

How does Everinbox handle content moderation?
We use automated systems to detect policy-violating patterns in real time: unusual sending volumes, high bounce rates, spam trigger words, and known phishing signatures. Flagged accounts go through manual review by our Trust & Safety team before any action is taken. We do not take down content based solely on automated flags.
My account or email feature was suspended. What do I do?
Suspensions are triggered when our systems detect activity that violates our Acceptable Use Policy or Anti-Spam Policy. You'll receive an email explaining the reason. If you believe the suspension was a mistake, submit an Internal Review Request: select "Objectionable Content" and describe your situation. Our team reviews every appeal within 2 business days.
I received spam from an Everinbox sender
Submit a Spam Report using the form above. Include the sender's email address, the approximate date/time you received it, and any headers you can provide. We take every spam report seriously. Confirmed violators are suspended and their sending domains are blocked.
How long does Everinbox take to respond?
Standard reports (spam, content, phishing): within 2 business days. Account compromise reports: within 24 hours. DMCA and trademark notices: within 5 business days. Counter-notices: within 5 business days of receipt, with content restoration occurring 10–14 business days after a valid counter-notice if no legal action is initiated.
What is the DMCA and how does Everinbox handle it?
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a U.S. copyright law that provides a safe harbor for service providers who respond promptly to infringement notices. When we receive a valid DMCA notice, we remove the infringing content and notify the sender. The sender can submit a counter-notice if they believe the removal was in error. After receiving a valid counter-notice, we wait 10–14 business days before restoring content, giving the copyright holder time to seek a court order.
What industries or content types are restricted on Everinbox?
Certain industries require pre-approval before sending on our platform: adult content, online gambling, pharmaceuticals, cryptocurrency/NFTs, payday lending, and firearms. Senders in these categories must contact our compliance team before activating their accounts. See the Acceptable Use Policy for the complete list.

What happens after I submit a report?
You'll receive an automatic confirmation. Our Trust & Safety team reviews every submission and investigates. We may contact you for additional information. Due to privacy obligations, we cannot always disclose the specific action taken against a reported account, but we act on every valid report.
